Sunday, Michael and I celebrated out 28th and 26th birthdays. The night before we went out dancing to Blü Ultra Lounge in Worcester and had a great time. They happen to be having a "white party," which only meant having every one in white, but it was cool.
The place has changed itself, since the last I was there when it named Rage. The dance floor is bigger now and the music was ten times better. Needless to say I spent about 95% of my time on the dance floor and I have the bruises to prove it. Yes, I hurt myself while dancing, but only because I get so wrapped up in the music that I literally loose control. Like I tell Michael, when he asks me to settle down, You can't tell a bird not to fly, or a fish not to swim, that is how I am with dancing. So, the next day I woke up with bruises on my wrists and arms and pain in my back and neck. I really gave myself a work out. Overall, we had a good time with some friends with just a small amount of negative energy to have to put up with, but that is life, no?
Here is a run down of some of the songs they played:
Whitney Houston / I Will Always Love You (Hex Hector Remix)
Jennifer Lopez/ Get Right / Do It Well
Beyoncé / Greenlight / Deja Vu / Check On It
Jennifer Hudson / I'm Tellin You I'm Not Going (Rosabel Anthem Remix)
Madonna / 4 Minutes / Hung Up
Shakira / Hips Don't Lie
Kat DeLuna / Run The Show
Britney Spears / Gimme More / Toxic / Break The Ice
It was a pretty good selection of songs. Anyway, on our actual birthday we went and had brunch at Goldstar Restaurant and then saw the movie Smart People, which was pretty good. That is about it for right now. Salut :)
